Eket Tech Day 2023 marked a significant milestone in the technological advancement of Eket, Nigeria, as it brought together a diverse array of stakeholders, ranging from industry experts to students, to celebrate innovation, foster collaboration, and empower the local tech ecosystem. The event, held on 24th June, 2023 at Royalty Hotel, was organized by the esteemed Fhenix Africa in collaboration with key partners such as Aniedi Udobong(Program manager,Google) BSW (Beyond School Walls), Africinnovate, Kodehauz, and Automagic. The theme, "Driving Awareness and Building Local Capacity for Global Competence," underscored the importance of equipping individuals and With a total of 643 attendees, including curious adults and eager high school students, the event proved to be a melting pot of ideas, experiences, and aspirations.
Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to participate in interactive panel sessions and talks covering a wide range of topics, including digital literacy, entrepreneurship, emerging technologies, and sustainable development. These sessions facilitated meaningful discussions and provided attendees with actionable insights and strategies to address key challenges and opportunities within the tech ecosystem.
