Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, Bilingual (English/Spanish) professional to provide advanced operational and customer service support to our network of insurance brokers. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of healthcare insurance and relationship management. You will serve as the primary point of contact for agents and brokers, assisting with complex inquiries regarding commissions, policy procedures, and product information for Individual, Dental, and Life insurance plans.

Location: Miami, FL 33172 (Hybrid – One day onsite per week)

Compensation: 19/hr.

Contract Duration: 1-Year Initial Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • High-Volume Correspondence: Manage a rapid-response queue of 150–200 emails daily while maintaining high accuracy and professional tone.
  • Broker Support: Assist agents via phone and written communication regarding legislation, policies, and procedural updates.
  • Reporting & Data: Provide detailed performance and commission reports to brokers; utilize Excel for data tracking and special projects.
  • Operational Logistics: Coordinate large-scale mailings, fulfillment requests, and assist in the coordination of broker "road show" events.
  • Conflict Resolution: Research and resolve inquiries involving claims, membership, and benefits knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Language: Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of related customer service experience (3+ years in a call center environment is strongly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word) with intermediate Excel skills for reporting.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Compliance: Must be able to pass a Level II Fingerprint Background Screening .
  • Work Arrangement: Must reside near Miami to work onsite at least once per week (11430 NW 20th St).

Preferred Skill Sets

  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in Health Insurance, specifically with Medicare/Medicaid , HIPAA, and PHI/PII privacy guidelines.
  • Advanced Systems: Experience working with dual monitors and navigating complex insurance databases.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Advanced knowledge of claims processing, membership enrollment, or insurance benefits.
