Bookkeeper – Hospitality & Events 100% In-Person | River North, Chicago, IL | $60,000/year

Hospitality moves fast. The books have to keep up. We're looking for a bookkeeper who's already been inside a restaurant, bar, or live events operation and knows exactly what that reconciliation looks like.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reconcile food and beverage sales across multiple revenue streams and event formats
• Manage expense reporting through Capital One expense management platform
• Process invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Reconcile data across POS systems including Toast and Square
• Reconcile ticketing software revenue across events
• Support month-end close and financial reporting
• Maintain accurate records across all active projects and events
• Other tasks as assigned

What You Need to Have

• Hands-on bookkeeping experience in restaurants, hospitality, food and beverage, or live events — hard requirement
• QuickBooks Online proficiency
• Direct experience with Toast and/or Square
• Experience reconciling ticketing software revenue
• Familiarity with Capital One expense management
• Ability to work at the pace of a live, seasonal operation

Compensation Annual Salary: $60,000. The annual salary for this position is fixed at $60,000.
