Salary: $70,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We need demonstrated experience supporting enterprise data networking technologies, including Cisco LAN switching and routing.
• We need strong practical knowledge of structured cabling, with a focus on telecommunications and network fiber technologies, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• We need experience using OTDR equipment and related testing tools.
• We prefer experience with WLAN fundamentals and support for Cisco wireless solutions.
• We prefer Cisco CCNA certification or higher.
• We prefer familiarity with WLAN tools such as Ekahau or similar platforms.
• We prefer project management experience or certification.
• Additional experience in advanced IP routing, including OSPF and BGP, would be an advantage.
• Experience supporting data center networks, including the Cisco Nexus platform, would be a plus.
• Knowledge of internet routing and security, network security controls, scripting or programming in a network environment such as Ansible, and Netbrain support would be beneficial.
• Experience working in a steel mill or other heavy-industry environment is strongly preferred.
• We need strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
• We need the ability to work independently, manage complex incidents, prioritize effectively, and meet critical deadlines.
• We require flexibility for on-call support, including participation in a 24/7 rotation and working extended hours when outages, migrations, or support demands require it.

• We support project delivery as part of the Data Networking team, contributing to successful technical solutions.
• We provide pre-planning, design, deployment, testing, and migration support for network initiatives.
• We help manage day-to-day operational activities for the Data Networking team when needed.
• We participate in incident and event management, including investigation, troubleshooting, reporting, resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• We contribute to the design of network solutions using approved standard technologies in collaboration with peers, vendors, and partners.
• We monitor data networks for performance, security, and stability, identifying trends and taking proactive action when issues emerge.
• We support all phases of deployment, from planning and design through physical installation.
• We work hands-on with equipment deployment in heavy-industry and plant environments as required.
• We manage vendor relationships related to incident handling, project coordination, relationship development, and SLA maintenance.
• We participate in on-call support and respond flexibly to outage, migration, and other time-sensitive activities.
