Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements:

• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance (must be maintained as a condition of employment)
• Over 5 years of experience in DoD security, including a minimum of 2 years in an SCI environment within the last 5 years
• Comprehensive understanding of DoD and USSF security policies, directives, and compliance frameworks
• Proven track record in managing SCIF/SAPF physical security requirements and conducting facility inspections
• Familiarity with DoD security systems and networks, such as DISS, SC, NP2, e-QIP, JWICS, and SIPR
• Strong knowledge of PHYSEC, INFOSEC, PERSEC, INDUSEC, and SETA principles and practices
• Exceptional communication skills to convey complex security concepts to leadership, staff, and partners
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing effective mitigations

• Implement and oversee comprehensive Physical, Information, Personnel, and Industrial Security (PHYSEC, INFOSEC, PERSEC, INDUSEC) programs to ensure full compliance with DoD and USSF regulations
• Manage all security program elements that support the USSF mission, encompassing personnel, physical, industrial, and information security operations
• Coordinate and conduct personnel security operations using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), ensuring timely and accurate processing of clearance and investigations
• Administer in/out-processing for military, civilian, and contractor personnel, maintaining precise access control and security documentation across multiple facilities
• Act as a Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor to civilian staff and senior leadership, offering guidance on regulatory compliance and best practices
• Support government inspections, audits, and self-assessments, ensuring prompt resolution of findings and ongoing compliance with directives
• Review, update, and refine security policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); propose new or revised SOPs for government consideration
• Manage the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program by developing materials and conducting briefings to foster a robust security culture
• Conduct and document preliminary investigations into potential security incidents, ensuring appropriate reporting, corrective actions, and mitigation measures
• Maintain and oversee SCI sponsorship for mission partner personnel, ensuring all training, access, and reporting requirements are fulfilled accurately across facilities
