What You’ll Do:

  • Connect & Empower: Build trusting relationships with community members to understand their health needs, barriers, and goals.
  • Facilitate Access: Help residents navigate healthcare, mental health support, addiction counseling, and social services.
  • Lead Outreach: Develop innovative programs and campaigns that educate, engage, and uplift diverse populations.
  • Inspire & Mentor: Manage volunteer teams and community health ambassadors, training and motivating them to expand your program’s reach.
  • Be the Voice: Deliver engaging presentations at community events, workshops, and health fairs that capture attention and spark action.
  • Amplify Awareness: Harness social media to promote health initiatives and upcoming events, building a strong community presence.
  • Drive Improvement: Collect and analyze data to measure impact, identify gaps, and continuously enhance program effectiveness.
  • Grow Partnerships: Lead recruitment efforts for volunteers and community organizations to strengthen capacity and collaboration.
  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Oversee scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting to ensure programs operate efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams in community-focused settings.
  • Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Background in program development, project management, and marketing for outreach .
  • Familiarity with social media tools to amplify initiatives.
  • Experience or knowledge in public health, social work, or addiction counseling is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills —recruiting, teaching, and motivating others.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects seamlessly.
  • Comfortable with data collection, reporting, and program evaluation .
  • Strong administrative skills , including scheduling and documentation.
