Job Description

Salary: $107,900 - 195,050 per year Requirements:

  • We require an active DoD Secret clearance, and candidates must be eligible to obtain Top Secret clearance after hire.
  • We require a bachelors degree in an IT-related field from an accredited college or university plus at least 8 years of experience in an operational cybersecurity role, or 12+ years in an IT-related role with at least 10 years in operational cybersecurity.
  • We require at least 10 years of IA cyber management experience.
  • We require DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification, such as CISSP or an equivalent credential.
  • We require experience serving as a SIPRNet subject matter expert and supporting successful CORA and/or CCRI inspections in a lead or key contributor capacity.
  • We require strong working knowledge of RMF, NIST, CNSS cybersecurity requirements, and cybersecurity risk management practices.
  • We require familiarity with NISPOM and DCSA A&A guidance for classified information systems.
  • We require knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and secure classified-environment practices, including cryptography and key management.
  • We require working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux in a secure network environment.
  • We require experience with compliance and vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Splunk, ACAS, and STIG Viewer.
  • We require experience with workflow, documentation, and configuration/change management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and eMASS.
  • We require the ability to perform in a fast-changing regulatory environment with multiple remediation timelines.
  • We require strong teamwork, adaptability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience with cloud computing.
  • Preferred: experience developing policies, procedures, guidance, and RMF artifacts.
  • Preferred: experience using JIRA and Confluence.
Responsibilities:
  • We lead information security initiatives from concept through deployment, implementation, and user acceptance.
  • We support and secure SIPRNet environments while maintaining compliance with DoD, NISPOM, DAAG, and internal cybersecurity requirements.
  • We conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation, including STIG implementation, analysis, POA&M management, and timely correction of findings.
  • We develop and deliver cybersecurity, information assurance, and incident response training, along with supporting materials and procedures.
  • We manage RMF continuous monitoring using automated tools and ticketing systems to track controls, vulnerabilities, corrective actions, and compliance.
  • We maintain system authorization packages and supporting A&A documentation such as SSPs, CONOPS, POA&Ms, and security control evidence.
  • We develop and maintain configuration management processes for security-relevant hardware, software, and firmware.
  • We facilitate CCB meetings, assess the security impact of proposed changes, and document approvals and implementation evidence.
  • We ensure information systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in line with approved authorization packages, customer needs, and security policy.
  • We evaluate proposed system changes and advise leadership on risks, implications, and required mitigations.
  • We participate in risk management, assessments, audits, and inspections, and coordinate corrective actions for identified findings.
  • We lead investigations of cybersecurity incidents and violations, including reporting, containment, remediation, recovery, and corrective measures.
  • We partner with the FSO and program leadership to develop, implement, and manage the Information Systems Security Program.
  • We create, enforce, and continuously improve information security policies, procedures, and operational practices.
