Job Description

Our client is seeking a seasoned JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Functional Analyst to support their enterprise ERP platform. In this role, you'll partner closely with business and operations teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and well-controlled solutions — serving as the functional expert for JDE E1 across configuration, process alignment, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary functional owner for key JDE E1 modules, including Financials, Job Cost, Procurement, Equipment, and Distribution
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Project teams to understand their needs and turn them into actionable solutions
  • Configure and fine-tune E1 system settings — processing options, UDCs, versions, and workflows — to keep pace with evolving business requirements
  • Lead and support testing efforts across all phases, from unit and integration testing through UAT
  • Play an active role in upgrades, system enhancements, and ESU deployments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly, keeping disruption to a minimum
  • Create and maintain documentation including process flows, functional specs, and training resources
  • Champion best practices around internal controls, compliance, and data governance

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5–10 years working hands-on with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in a functional or functional/technical capacity
  • A solid grasp of construction or project-based business environments — job costing, project accounting, and procurement experience is a big plus
  • Comfortable translating complex business requirements into clear functional specs that developers and technical teams can act on
  • Hands-on familiarity with E1 tools including Orchestrator, BI Publisher, Watchlists, and CaféOne
  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills for reporting and troubleshooting
  • Experience navigating ERP implementations or major system upgrades
  • Strong communicator who can work effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences
