Ansa micro roastery is looking for a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team at our Thompson St location. We take pride in our micro-roasting process and are looking for someone who shares our love for high-quality coffee and exceptional service.
Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, pour-overs, and cold brews, following our quality standards.
• Educate customers on our different roast profiles and brewing methods.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the espresso machine and grinder.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, handling transactions accurately.
• Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee environment is preferred.
• Deep understanding of coffee extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Passion for coffee and a desire to continue learning about the industry.
• Availability to work weekends and early morning shifts.
