Utilitrain is seeking a full-time Overhead Transmission Journeyman Instructor for an on-site position in Elkton, MD. The instructor will be responsible for delivering hands-on training and classroom-based learning experiences. This role includes developing lesson plans, teaching safe work practices, overseeing training for various utility-focused disciplines, and mentoring students preparing for careers in utility services.

• Strong experience and technical skills in overhead transmission systems, rigging, linework, and equipment operations.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, including expertise in CPR and First Aid, and a commitment to maintaining a safe training environment.
• Proven ability to deliver classroom instruction and hands-on technical training, including the preparation of clear, effective training materials.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills to guide and inspire students effectively.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and familiarity with CDL training programs.
• Previous experience as a journeyman lineworker or equivalent within the utility industry is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in adapting training methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles.
