PHYSICAL SECURITY MANAGER
GDIT is seeking to fill a Physical Security/Facilities Manager position to support the Global Citizen Services FED CIV DIFF CL. The Physical Security/Facilities Manager must have a strong background with federal physical security requirements and construction of secure areas and force entry items (Doors, Windows, and walls). Manage the operation and maintenance of the overseas facilities, equipment, and systems, along with other assigned duties; Plan and execute building overseas and domestic projects, including scheduling and coordination with internal / external stakeholders. The position will require approximately 30% +/- overseas travel.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The Physical Security Manager must have:
● Education: Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Ability to use CAD software, Security, Engineering, Architecture, Business or Technical Training/Certifications is preferred, Small scale construction experience is a plus.
● Security clearance level: An active SECRET clearance. Must be able to maintain a SECRET Clearance
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Role is hybrid with up to 30% overseas travel each year.
