Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Assisted Living Facility
Elan Manatee Assisted Living is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents in a warm and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, working 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring individual to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a collaborative and respectful setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and treatment monitoring
- Assess residents’ health status and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure residents’ comfort and safety
- Document resident care accurately and maintain detailed medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Support a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state
- Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
