Job Description

• Gray Line of San Francisco is looking for a driver/tour guide to lead small groups to the wine country, Yosemite Valley, Muir Woods, Monterey and San Francisco 1-to 6 days per week from San Francisco.
• You will be driving a Minibus (20 or 35 passengers)
• Must be outgoing, and friendly, a people person, be willing to go out of your way for guests, be enthusiastic about your job, and always do the best job possible.
• Previous experience with the tourism industry is preferred but not essential. We're open to training you as a tour guide if you're willing to learn this job and get into this exciting industry!
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Knowledge of wine country and the winemaking process is a big plus.
• Maintain a clean bus always
• Excellent communication and presentation skills required
• Must be available most weekends and several holidays
• A can-do attitude and flexibility are a must.
• Must be able to count the number of guests per tour and record details in a tour log

 

ONCE HIRED, APPLICANTS WOULD NEED TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING TO BEGIN DRIVING:

• Valid Commercial California Driver’s License with a passenger endorsement
• A California Department of Motor Vehicles Drivers Record Print Out (H-6 document)
• A completed employment application
• Medical Card
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test as a condition of employment with random testing occurring throughout the year.
• This position comes with a complete compensation package including salary, benefits, paid vacation, and sick leave. Hourly rate plus overtime.
