As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului HI youll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers staff and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols engaging with the public and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Full Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers visitors and staff by following site-specific access control procedures post orders and other security-related policies at a government aviation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals curbside areas parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Monitor points of entry restricted areas and controlled doors; check identification and/or credentials when required; and report access issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with evacuations crowd direction and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency partners.
• Complete required reports and logs document observed conditions and incidents and communicate timely updates to site leadership using approved communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
