Job Summary:
As the Senior Auto Mechanic, you will not only have the responsibility of performing repairs/services needed, but you will also directly supervise and mentor other mechanics in the shop.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.
  • Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
  • Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.
  • Develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
  • Document work order with 3C’s.
  • Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations.
  • Dispatch repair orders according to skill level.
  • Maintain direct communication with management.
  • Perform other relevant duties to the role as they arise.

Education and Experience:

  • Years of Experience 5 yrs min.
