Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position in Telluride, CO for an Assistant Pastry Chef. The Assistant Pastry Chef will support the Head Pastry Chef in preparing and baking high-quality pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, executing recipes with precision, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring proper storage of ingredients, and monitoring food inventory. Additional duties may involve collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and maintaining consistency in food presentation and quality.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Baking, Cooking, and Culinary Skills
  • Hands-on experience in Bakery and Food Preparation
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality pastries
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Culinary education or certification in baking and pastry arts is preferred
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen or pastry role is a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
