Driver- Class A CDL Delivery

Hourly rate $28/hr to $35/hr + OT (time in a half over 40) + quarterly bonus (full time employment) + annual bonus doubles with no violations in 4 quarters

My client is America’s largest supplier of building materials, value-added components and building services to the professional market. They are currently looking to hire a Class A Driver-CDL Delivery for a full-time employment opportunity in their Paradise, PA office location.

Responsibilities:

• May load or assist with loading and appropriately securing product, materials, or supplies inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers customer orders to specified delivery site via 53’ flatbed trailer with Moffet trailer-mounted forklift or 28’ straight trucks.
• Maneuvers vehicles into loading or unloading positions and ensures that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
• Assists customers with unloading materials safely and accurately using a Moffet truck-mounted forklift to offload materials to designated areas.
• Takes all precautions to protect the product and the customer’s property.
• Verifies order details and maintains logs of delivery duties including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage and locations of deliveries. Checks items against invoice to ensure order accuracy.
• Acts as a customer service liaison between the company and the site customer. Handles customer concerns and helps resolve issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 21+ years old, and valid driver's license and a Class A CDL license
• 2 years of CDL driving with Moffet truck-mounted forklift experience
• Pass Motor Vehicle Report
• Currently have DOT medical card or obtain one within five (5) days of a request
• Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years

Location:

• Load in Paradise, PA and delivery territory PA & DE (limited NJ & MD)
