Executive Assistant

My client, a well-known Auto Dealership with locations in the DC metro area, is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support their C-Suite.

This individual will be highly organized and professional, with stellar management skills and excellent verbal and written communication. This role will assist the President and the General Counsel with their calendars (business and personal), travel, correspondence, planning special events, and managing the office.

The position is based onsite in Rockville/North Bethesda.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain the Executive’s calendar, contact list, coordinate all travel arrangements, and complete expense reports as required. • Prepare internal and external correspondence, reports, and materials for publications, presentations, and meeting materials. • Set up, coordinate and provide onsite support for meetings and special events • Screen and review communication for executives and delegate responses as necessary. • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system. • Maintain confidentiality at all times. • Special assignments as requested. • Provide back-up support to other employees as needed and as directed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/ABILITIES): • Punctual, dependable, and reliable • Possession of strong organizational skills • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing • Ability to work positively and cooperatively with fellow team members • Must possess strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines • Capability to work in fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments • Knowledge of MS Office 365(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Notary in Maryland • Experience as a paralegal

EXPERIENCE: • 5+ years of executive level support

EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: • Associate’s Degree (Preferred) • Notary (Required) • Paralegal experience (Required)

The position is entirely onsite and has excellent benefits. Salary range is $75,000-$115,000 (based on experience).
