HOUSE MANAGER | Private Household | Long-Term Stability

A private household is seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a well‑maintained residence. This role is focused on ensuring the home runs smoothly, coordinating service providers, and proactively managing property needs with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily household operations to ensure the residence is maintained to a high standard
• Coordinate and schedule vendors, maintenance professionals, and service providers
• Monitor property upkeep and proactively address repair or maintenance needs
• Assist with oversight of household support staff and collaborate to maintain efficient routines
• Track household expenses and organize documentation for external accounting support
• Coordinate vehicle servicing and routine property maintenance needs
• Support logistics related to home organization, seasonal upkeep, and household projects

Experience

• Prior experience managing private homes, estates, or high‑service residential environments
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach
• Professional discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality in a private environment
• Comfort working with household smart technology operated via mobile devices, and spreadsheets
• Strong communication skills when coordinating vendors and service professionals

Work Environment

• Full‑time, Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• Private residential setting with a small household
• Collaborative environment alongside existing household support staff
• Long‑term stability with a focus on maintaining a well‑run home environment

Compensation

• Base salary target range: $125,000 – $150,000
• Paid time off provided
• Monthly health insurance reimbursement stipend
