Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintain operational logbooks
  • Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and changeovers between production orders
  • Record production data, process checks, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist technicians by reporting equipment issues and symptoms of failures
  • Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities following established procedures
  • Handle materials using pallet jacks while maintaining proper lot segregation and traceability
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow GMP, safety regulations, hazard communication, and PPE requirements
  • Ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process
  • Report unresolved equipment or production issues to supervisors
  • Maintain accurate work-in-process records and inventory documentation
  • Demonstrate continuous learning and proficiency on manufacturing equipment
  • Follow supervisor instructions while ensuring quality standards are met before, during, and after production

Skills:

  • Experience operating manufacturing or production machinery
  • Ability to follow written procedures and standard operating instructions
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed
  • Experience maintaining production documentation and operational records
  • Knowledge of GMP and manufacturing safety practices
  • Experience using pallet jacks and handling production materials
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while wearing required PPE
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Troubleshooting and leadership experience is a plus
  • Positive attitude with the ability to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
