About the Role

The firm is looking for an Analyst to join the Portfolio Management Team. You'll be joining a nimble, experienced team tasked with overseeing and managing a portfolio consisting of directly originated and syndicated debt and equity investments. You'll work with the investment team to analyze financial performance, assist in diligence for amendments and add-ons, and complete quarterly fair market value processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete ongoing portfolio company monitoring including in-depth analysis of financial performance and covenant compliance reporting
• Serve as the primary contact for borrower financial reporting, covenant monitoring, and post-close credit activity
• Lead diligence, analysis, preparation, and presentation of all post-close amendments, restructurings, and add-on investments for existing portfolio companies
• Prepare materials for and present in monthly portfolio review and quarterly valuation meetings, including developing data-supported views on borrower performance and utilizing valuation tools to derive quarterly fair market values
• Work closely with investment research, operations, and investor relations teams to prepare recurring reports and ad hoc analysis on portfolio and fund performance
• Coordinate pre-close and funding processes with legal counsel, borrowers, and private equity sponsors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 1-3 years' experience in public accounting, commercial banking, or advisory services
• Demonstrated knowledge of credit terms and structures, legal documentation, financial statement analysis, and projection modeling
• Working knowledge of datarooms, portfolio monitoring software, and information databases is beneficial
