POSITION: Sales Trainer & Program Manager

COMPENSATION: Pursuant to Colorado regulations if this job is performed in Colorado the salary range is $80000 - $85000 plus bonus potential. âEligible to participate in the company benefits plan. SUMMARY

The Sales Trainer & Program Manager serves as the primary architect and champion of The Cardinal Way of Leasing across the organization. This role bridges the gap between people process and technology by driving excellence in leasing performance communicating the value of hospitality-first sales models and empowering onsite teams to master our centralized ecosystem. The Sales Trainer owns the deployment of signature leasing curricula manages the integration of AI leasing platforms like Elise AI and performs performance accountability activities to ensure our leasing engine is sophisticated consistent and conversion-focused.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)

Curriculum Architect and Instructional Design

  • Serve as the primary champion and internal spokesperson for the Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWOL) ensuring world-class hospitality is infused into every interaction across the portfolio.
  • Own the Source of Truth for training collateral including auditing developing and updating manuals slide decks videos and digital playbooks to reflect current brand market trends and internal workflows and systems.
  • Collaborate with Leasing & Marketing leaders to ensure curriculum helps upskill the team based on trends gaps they have identified.
  • Develop a program roadmap that offers visibility to the organization around frequency of auditing and updating materials.
  • Drive the evolution of the Hybrid Future balancing high-tech automation with high-touch human connection to differentiate Cardinals hospitality model.

Deployment

  • Lead the deployment and delivery of signature leasing curricula to onsite and centralized teams who are responsible for leasing activities acting as the primary bridge during the onboarding and integration of new teams.
  • Demonstrate proficiency using Elise AI ensuring teams have solid understanding of the automation and human touchpoints (both onsite and centralized team members) work together to maximize lead-to-lease velocity.
  • Ensure Onsite Centralized and Leasing Managers are all Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWOL) certified and held to the same standards of our hospitality excellence.
  • Manage attendance for mandatory training and have transparent and consistent practices that report on team members who have passed and not passed the program; hold Team Leads accountable for ensuring their teams are active participants in CWOL trainings.

Performance Coaching & Accountability

  • Steward the ROI of the Mystery Shop program and execute to ensure its applicable to Onsite and Centralized Team Members
  • Analyze conversion funnels lead to lease ratios and Mystery Shop scores to identify gaps. Create and deliver proactive data-driven coaching to regions and teams accordingly.
  • Partner with department leaders across Leasing & Marketing Operations and Centralized Services to identify friction points in the leasing workflow and design booster training programs to move the needle on sales KPIs.
  • Spend time listening to onsite and centralized Team Members execute CWOL throughout all touchpoints of the prospect journey to observe the program in action providing real time feedback to team members.
  • Regularly monitor conversion metrics and shop scores to ensure training initiatives are grounded in real operational needs and performance data - and positively impacting leasing.
  • Champion the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values in every interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Multifamily Leasing Sales Training or Program Management is required.
  • Proficiency with Elise AI (or similar PropTech AI) and CRM systems (Entrata RealPage etc.) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience driving sales KPIs or mystery shop scores is required.
  • Sophisticated communication skills with the ability to command a room (or a Zoom) and translate complex workflows into actionable inspiration.
  • Tech-savvy strategic mindset with an interest and understanding of how AI software can amplify the impact of leasing professionals.
  • Can manage up down and sideways ensuring executives are kept informed leaders have buy-in to program and results and team members are committed to the excellence of CWOL.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous eye for editing training collateral.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to engage with onsite teams and conduct live workshops.
  • Hospitality-focused mindset treating every lease as an experience rather than a transaction.
