Job Description

Our Carrollton, TX-based client is hiring a UI/UX Designer focused on the discovery, ideation, and development of new digital products in the retirement space and beyond. The UI/UX Designer will guide the digital future of our client's firm by working cross-functionally to test new ideas, pilot solutions, and prepare successful concepts for broader rollout.

This is a direct-hire position working onsite (75 days/year remote) in Carrollton, TX.

COMP:

Up to $146K OTE (Designer 5+ years of experience)

Up to $189K OTE (Sr. Designer 7+ years of experience)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Lead the design strategy and define the user experience for new products across web and mobile platforms
Own the end-to-end product design of digital products from concept to launch across multiple lines of business
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design approaches
Communicate design concepts, prototypes, and testing insights to key stakeholders
Research the use of AI-assisted user workflows
Create specifications and assets for the engineering team

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

5+ years OR 7+ years (Sr.) of experience in UI/UX design in business and consumer-facing digital products
Experience leading 0-to-1 product development from concept to launch
Built design systems from the ground up
Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with an entrepreneurial mindset
Have previously conducted at least 50 external customer interviews to inform product decisions
Strong UI/UX portfolio across web and mobile applications
Expertise in user-centered design, research, and prototyping
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
