This is a hands-on role within a high-performance technology environment, supporting the global movement of specialist hardware used in critical infrastructure.
You’ll be based in a busy, fast-moving warehouse operation, responsible for picking, staging, and shipping technical equipment requested by field engineering teams. The role sits at the intersection of logistics and technology, so it’s ideal for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with technical kit.
You’ll work closely with engineering teams and report into the Head of Purchasing & Logistics, playing a key role in ensuring equipment is prepared, tracked, and delivered globally without error.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, giving you a pathway into a long-term position within a highly respected organisation.
Responsibilities:
• Pick, pack, and ship technical equipment to global field teams.
• Build and stage equipment based on engineering requests.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics of hardware.
• Support inventory management and stock control processes.
• Handle equipment lifecycle tasks including inventory tracking and liquidation.
• Use internal systems (including NetSuite) to manage orders and requests.
• Assist engineers by preparing and allocating required kit.
• Maintain high standards of organisation, accuracy, and documentation.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet handling where required.
Skills / Must Have:
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or technical operations environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Comfortable handling and working with technical equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with engineering teams.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment.
• Experience using warehouse or inventory systems (NetSuite beneficial).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Nice to Have:
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Exposure to technical or networking equipment.
• Experience in inventory management or asset tracking.
